About KAtherine
Katherine Lyle (she/her) is an actor, playwright, and director originally from Anchorage, Alaska. A recipient of the Global Talent Visa for Exceptional Promise, Katherine now calls London home. She received her BA in Musical Theatre from James Madison University and her MA in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, where she graduated with Distinction.
She began work professionally as a company member Barter Theatre, a rotating year-long Equity repertory company, and as a Barter Player, their touring troupe that focuses on bringing theatre arts to underserved areas across the USA.
Katherine is signed with Lucie Eadon of Eadon Management, and has enjoyed success in the UK industry in theatrical and commercial work. She is a co-founder of CKC Productions, a company producing North American women-led theatre in London.
Recent productions include THE VALUE OF NAMES (OffWest-End), LA CAGE AUX FOLLES (Barter Theatre), A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Perseverance Theatre).
Katherine’s first play, "Sorrow, 1882", enjoyed a nearly sold out first reading in partnership with Outside Edge Theatre Company at the Rosemary Branch Theatre. It is a Play Lab selection at the Valdez Theatre Conference 2025. A developmental reading of her play, "DANAE", was held in the fall of 2024. Her various one-acts have been selected for new writing nights across London, including Optik Theatre’s Script Room at the Richmond Arts & Ideas Festival 2025.
An equestrian since the age of seven, Katherine has been a competitive hunter/jumper for over fifteen years. Katherine is an avid reader, lover of fiber crafts, and is mother to two very soft cats, Franklin and Faye.
